Traffic Engineering Services

Traffic Impact Studies & Analyses
We perform traffic impact studies (TIS) and traffic impact analyses (TIA) for development projects that may impact existing and future traffic conditions compared to the existing or by-right land use. These studies can analyze and determine traffic mitigation measures to offset future traffic impacts.

Pavement Marking & Signage
We create signing, striping, and pavement marking plans for a wide variety of situations and projects. These are important components to create the separation of traffic flows in separate or opposite directions to mark the edge of roadways and travel lanes, and to encourage or discourage crossings.

Traffic Signal Design Services
Our traffic design team has extensive project experience across the country on the full range of traffic design issues, including traffic signal warrant studies, design of new traffic control devices, traffic signal installation, pedestrian signal crossing plans, modification of existing installations due to changing traffic patterns and use, and street lighting.

Maintenance of Traffic (MOT) Plans
We create maintenance of traffic plans, sometimes called traffic control plans (TCP) or temporary traffic control plans, which show how vehicular and pedestrian traffic will be maintained during any project where the public right-of-way is impacted, including roadway construction projects; bicycle, sidewalk, and/or trail projects; and building construction, modifications, and/or restorations.
